I'm not a Warhammer 40K fan, but I always liked the Terminator armour, and it's weird to see one of the helms up close without the rest of the armour - but it's extremely well done

Ermmm... you'll actually just have to play around with it. Find a brush and the settings you like first and then work with those as a base. Knowing how photoshop works does help, as they are more or less similar in functions these days.
