THOUGHTS:
Basically, I looked at this shoe and was trying to decide if I should do something Grecian or something modern and lineblocky, inspired by the straps. So then I thought, "Why not both?" Hence the Grecian top and skirt drapery, and modern lineblocky skirt. I knew I had to give a summery, but slightly fancy dress to complement the casual elegance of the shoe...clearly it wouldn't go with a ballgown or cold weather outfit, but the shoe is still dressy enough to be above outfits that would sooner be paired with traditional plastic flip flops.

MATERIALS
-silk charmeuse upper part of dress & "obi" waist sash middle thing.
-silk linen skirt (for more stiffness)
-silk satin ribbon on skirt
-light chiffon skirt drapery part
-Brown leather pebble doctor bag-ish satchel. Color inspired by shoe sole. Zipper pocket style on front inspired by the line blockiness of the skirt. The pockets are slightly lighter here, but this is just for clarity of expression of the bag design; they'd be the same color in real life

PS: I REALLY loved how the orange came out on this dress. Usually it's a color destined to doom you...here it's quite nice.
