Ha I admit it takes some practice! it was made with an app specifically designed for the small screen I used to spend many hours on the app

I didn't even know the DS had an app store, or is it on phone for DS? Regardless, you're very talented.

Thanks long story short , the DS app , which was called “Colors!” was home brew, that later became commercially available through shop for the 3DS, iOS and Android. All devices can upload to the gallery at Colorslive.com  , still has an active community but the app is a bit outdated by now...
