You can use where you want, but link back to my DA (credit)please. I don't understand the commercial use you are talking, if you use the pattern to illustrate a book you sell it's ok.
The restriction is to no redistribute the patterns; but you can use as background, to colour illustration, etc in your designs, book or other things you do. Thanks for ask, i'm glad you like

Mira en la barra de la derecha, pincha en download (el icono pequeño que es una pantalla naranja), y cuando tengas el archivo copia el .pat a la carpeta de presets/patterns del photoshop.
