Some of my lovely paper children!Top- Tidus from ffX. He was my very first paper child!
Bottom- Sora & Kairi from KH (and Paopu fruit).

Pacific Media Expo, Anime LA, and Anime Expo are the three I can afford to go to right now. I want to get to the northern cons eventually. I'd like to eventually get a booth once my art skill are better. What does it take to get and manage a booth at a con?

Ah very cool. I should definitely check those other ones out. Yeah you should definitely get a booth, it's a great experience. :] All you really have to do is just stay on top of all the deadlines such as when to apply for a booth. It varies from con to con but for AX you had to register for artist alley online and then also had to mail in an artist alley application. They also required you get a seller's permit, but they go over all of that in the application. Hmmm other than that you just have to pay for the space (and get tickets for the con, so it's good to buy the 4 day pass super early XD).
As far as managing your booth, I think having a helper is definitely helpful.

thank you very much! This was great info to get. I'm definitely going to wait on getting a booth until have have more experience under my belt. it sounds like tons of work. AX was my first con, so I'm going to run around like a crazy person a bit more until i have the responsibility of getting a booth. thanks again and hope to see you again at next years AX!
