this is from my archive from late november 2011, i shot a complete series, you can find it here.I had really good luck with the sun on this november day and i found these little and simple pieces of nature, everything worked so well together and i really like the outcome

The lens flare is lovely on this one. although I would have liked to have seen a bit sharper focusing on the grass, perhaps a slightly smaller aperture.

Entirely possible, most sites have their own compression algorithm for photos.
