Here's an honest question - would you be considered "pale" by Philippina standards? I've ben to the Philippines a few times and noticed that the people on tv were quite light.. but on the street ... not so much.

(please know that it doesn't actually matter all that much to me... just curious is all)

there is indeed a sort of bias, generally speaking, towards more fair skinned girls and guys in our country. whether an colonial mentality effect or simply a predilection towards something more uncommon/exotic is anybody's guess.
