The wind had a cold bite to it - up here in the hills. Not that Mae noticed the chill at the moment. She was, what could in other words be described as 'slightly occupied' - party due to the wind, and partly thanks to her horse, though at the moment, she had no intention of thanking him for anything, assuming she got through this alive.

Curse the weather. Curse the wind. Curse these darn hills. Curse this stupid dress. And curse that *** fox!

Feeling the hairbands that were keeping her long blond wig she'd gotten for this occasion in place loosen, she reached out, trying to hold it down.
But that meant she had to take one hand off the reins...

"No, Hollow NO! Not that way...that's a twelve foot drop on the other side..not counting the fenceeeeeeee!!!!"

The nightmare bared his fangs as his strong lithe body was carried effortlessly over the old wooden fence, the white of his eyes showing. Right now he knew nothing...nothing but the scent from the other side of the grassy gorge... taunting... challenging.... Freak...
