Description Rough lines for an upcoming drawing... doofy Ludo & Izzy meeting for the first time. XD Any redlining would be vastly helpful....

This will be moved to scrap in the future.

Looking food so far!

A couple of thoughts:

- On the person, her head is tilted slightly down, her mouth and nose are very close together, but her chin is HUGE comparitively, given the angle. I think it might work to move the nose/mouth lower, or make the chin smaller.

Arm angle on the right looks awkward. This could be because of the lack of fold in the fabric in the crook of her arm, it looks as though her arm should be held out a bit, but then there's no foreshortening of the forearm so it looks confusing.

The hand shape could also use some work, it looks like the wrist and hand width are the same size, which makes the hand look very chunky. Fingers are awkward and look like they have too many lines on that hand as well, but meh, that's pretty typical with that line weight and I'm sure it'll look difference once that's changed.

There seem to be the same foreshortening issues with the arm on the left as well, although I prefer the way you've done that hand - perhaps show some of the thumb as well?

It's hard for me to crit the horse, as I'm not sure what breed/type it is. And let's face it, I mostly do arabs and they have relatively weird anatomy

I like the set of the sears, and the eye is cute. Nostrils/muzzle need refining, but then this is a sketch so that's expected. I'm wondering if the hind leg that is visible is a bit too straight and the rump looks very round and lacking in muscle definition. Depending on breed though, that might not be an issue - remember, I mostly draw/paint skinny arabs! where the neck joins the shoulder on the left looks too angular, I think that section needs to be more smoothly rounded. The connection of the legs to body at the front would also benefit from some muscle definition, but I wouldn't expect to see that at a sketch.

I hope that helps! I think this will look lovely when finished! I really don't feel like redlining, I'm in a massive real media mood at the moment, sorry! >.<
