I don't even know where or how to begin. How did you learn? What were some of the first things you found easier to progress with? Did you had draw a base, scan that, then pixel it?

Hmm, when I started doing pixel stuff, at first I drew the base normally and later pixelized it but now I find it easier to just start with pixels.
I think what helped me the most was looking at other pixel art. Sometimes I found something (colors, way of shading, etc) that I really liked and wanted to try out. I tried a few things for a while and ended up finding a way of pixelating I liked. (But I'm still very inclined to experimenting a bit still - since I'm never really satisfying what what i'm doing orz)
