Derpy is made from soft gray fleece, with airbrushed faux fur mane and tail. Her "derpy" eyes and cutie mark are hand-painted felt. Stuffed with poly-fil, so she's really soft and huggable. No wires inside her - she stands on her own just fine. This is my own pattern.

Most likely, yes. I don't know exactly when, though. Ideally I'd like to find some minky in the appropriate color because I much prefer it to fleece. I love Derpy though, so she is definitely on my list of ponies to make (again).

Yeah, the fur was originally white, i airbrushed it to Derpy's hair color.

I just ordered the airbrush online from Amazon. It was about $80 for the compressor + airbrush. Cheap, but it works fine for what I use it for.

Thank you! ^_^ I actually don't remember where I got the fleece, it was a spare bit of fabric that I've had in the dark recesses of my closet for a couple of years. I just re-discovered it recently and immediately thought: "I MUST MAKE DERPY." X-D

OK, well thanks so much for answering so quickly! I just recently made a Derpy, but had a choice between what I call "sweatpants grey" and a pretty blue/grey as I couldn't find a nice solid grey, lol. I went with the blue/grey.

The blue gray should work well since I think in the show, Derpy actually does have a slight blue tinge to her body. I checked out your gallery, you make some pretty awesome pony plushies yourself.
