I really hate this drawing.I'm not sure where it is now(the real drawing I mean, not this scanned thing)...I think I've hidden it somewhere secret...where nobody (even me) can find it.
Every time I feel the urge to delete it from my gallery I tell myself people should know I can draw ugly things as well No , seriously I need to draw myself another portrait

And it feels...weird.Like I'm stuck in front of a mirror for hours..only I'm frozen into the same poseI drew this using a photo as a reference...I'd never be able to do it looking at actual mirror.It's really hard that way

Yeah...I know.I've tried drawing from a model too.I mean...I got a friend of mine to pose for me.After half an hour he was truly bored and I was truly irritated with myself so we gave upI'm doomed to always use reference photots

yeah..but i mean i like what was written INSIDE them

well i work much more easier!
my desk mate gets quite tired sometimes so he places the head on the desk and i can draw all i want
of course, i bug him to move back if the moves around to much

I'm not sure I agree though...I dislike so many things about this drawingI could have done better on almost everything in itI should so draw myself another one someday The list with things to draw is already endless lol

the artist is always her worst critic! trust me! it's wonderful...and though there may be some 'mistakes' it's always a work of art if you want to do another using the things you've learned since you've done this one...i say GO FOR IT!

my first one was a good 30years ago..yours came out fine i thought. practice is what everyone kept telling me and i guess it works....lol you have some nice art there.
