  Something like that, unfortunately... Because that place has suffered many destructions, not because of time, but because of wars, being through fire, bombing or robbery. I have some pictures of molten columns or printed with traces of cannons. Maybe I'll upload some...
I was lucky to know one of the Partenon's restorers who told me a lot about the Acropolis and who also helped me to enter the temple, and I stepped right to the end of that deck that is seen in the middle of the building! It was really a very cool experience!...
