My sister's birthday is coming up soon. Not sure why, but pondering over her name made me think of these two and how they're my favorite characters named Maria. C:

(Spoiler Alert: my sister's name is a variant of Maria, hahaha.)

Anyway.

I really wanted to try my hand at the Maria from "Final Fantasy II" ( the original one, mind you -- not SNES, which is actually FFIV. ) -- dunno if I did okay overall, but I feel slightly satisfied with at least the posing. I've drawn "Harvest Moon SNES/Magical Melody" Maria before, but she was fun to revisit regardless. <3

I might actually resize SNES!Maria, and turn her into a keychain for my sister (as her favorite character from SNES is Maria [go fig, hehe]). C: We shall see.
