Finally got it finished. The actual drawings took me less than an hour from beginning to end, but it was the editing and the typing on GIMP that took so long!Anyhow, proof that Portal 2 is now a stage 3 fandom for me, seeing as now I'm getting on board for pairings. My favorite? Chell x Wheatley. Can't ya tell?
Alright, apologies for OOC-ness of the characters, but I couldn't help but act on the idea after reading the Shel Silverstein poem 'Deaf Donald', which you can read here.

Oh God I remember this poem. It completely broke my heart when I read it as a kid. Fantastic work emulating it in this piece, it...was actually rather sad. Got a bit teary towards the end, if I'm honest.

-fist bump- Indeed! I have to say that it's one of the only pairings I really can ship in this fandom. Chell/GLaDOS...just no. P-Body/Atlas just seems wrong because I see them more as young siblings than pairing worthy. Then again, I said the same thing about Odin and Dopple having more of a sibling-like relationship. -shrug- ...Space Core/Curiosity Sphere, maybe. If Curiosity Sphere hadn't been incinerated. Spazz shippings abound!
I'm glad you liked it, I spent most of work thinking about the wording.
...also, I've started work on a fan fic exploring the idea about the PAK idea of the cores becoming human. There will be shipping. Much shipping. ...of one pairing, but shipping nonetheless.

Yeahhh, Chell/GLaDOS just doesn't sit right with me, especially with the implications in the second game that they might technically be mother and daughter. Plus. Come on, sometimes hate is just hate. Silly fandom. P-Body/Atlas seems pretty cute to me, buuuut I haven't seen all of co-op yet so maybe my opinion would change if I did. And Space Core/Curiosity Core is my crackship.

I finished the first chapter today. Honestly, I haven't spent this much time planning out and thinking about a fan fic since my days of Final Fantasy 9 writing. I'm actually working on the second chapter right now. XD
