Description
Another commission finished from a FurBid auction. A gentleman named Barry Poe wanted to get his female shadow dragon anthro done. I was kinda psyched about this one... shadow dragons rock, and I loved his description on her personality. No matter how many times I asked him what color the armor should be, he just said anything but a bright stainless-steel color. So i thought, either a darker red, blue or green.... and I picked green. Didn't realize how unhappy I am with that color, but it was a little late after I'd already colored some of the armor in. >.> Ah well. He payed an aweful lot for this pic, so I'm glad he's satisfied with it! he even asked if I may do another pic of her for him in the future. For some off-the-wall reason, I'm hoping he asks for a nude of her XDi!ORIGINAL!i SOLD

I don't know too much about Shadow Dragons in Dungeons & Dragons lore, but I'm pretty sure they aren't poisonous. Thanks for taking a look!

Black draconians have a poisonous bite.
The spit of a female copper draconian has healing powers instead of stun poison like the males.

If we are going to argue dragons. If you'll recall correctly, this fellow's character is a SHADOW DRAGON. Shadow Dragons, if we're talking D&D terms, are not poisonous. Their breath weapon is an energy drain.

This is a wonderful picture. I can't stand anthro pictures that are drawn Manga style with neon hair, huge eyes and breasts, and almost always sexual. I mean, that can be done tastefully, but more often than not it isn't. Your work is wonderful too for other reasons. I don't agree with giving anthros human hair. A horse should have a mane, but a dragon with hair wouldn't look reptilian. Excellent job on portraying this beast, I certainly wouldn't want to tangle with it. As always, I am impressed with what you offer up to appease our insatiable art-hunger.

A lot of the anthro characters I have drawn are commissions for someone else and not my own creations. (In fact, I only really have one anthro character, Tarna, a black panther with wings, and she is a mage I used to use in an old fantasy RPG). I tend to agree with you on the stereotypical anthros, I'm not big on flashy colors and scaleys with hair. But people do pay me to draw them on occaision and when you're flat broke you don't complain much. I'm glad this fellow commissioned me on his dragon character; I always have the most fun drawing people's RPG characters. I do wish I would have made her breasts a bit more pronounced, it's hard to tell she's female. But this was one of the characters I had the most fun drawing.

A nude could be interesting. I like the gree armor. Dragons rock and she is soo cool. Green and Black are my 2 favorite colors and I think they work well here.

Hmm... it's not really the shade of green that bothers me. I love the color green. I was just thinking that, even though black and green go together, it was the purple shades of the shadow dragon that i was hoping the green wouldnt clash with. And i keep thinking that it kinda did. o_0 Ah well, can't do nuttin' about all that now XD Thanks for your comment, as always draken dear!

See, one of his descriptive terms was, she's quite the busty lass.
However, it's hard to tell with the armor over her chest.
So if he doesnt mention a nude for the next piece, I might suggest it.
