Description
Yes, this is silly. But it was fun, and I think people should know how to squat in photos.Anyway, for those wondering, the "sorority squat" is that silly little squat that sororities (and other groups) use for group pictures so that people look mildly uniform, non-distracting, and flattering for photos. You avoid lots of group photo problems this way...
so yes, this is silly. But yes, it is also a good life lesson. Haha.
And for those of you who are still saying "Oh no she di'nt", I simply say, "Oh yes I did."
I demand that anyone who sorority squats in a photo MUST LINK BACK TO THIS TUTORIAL. (haha, I'm just yankin' your chain. I love seeing people who do tutorials for generally-known things and demand linkage.)

I know! I'm also in a professional fraternity, and trying to explain to them why they need to do it (group pictures don't work without it) is...interesting. They are not willing participants.

psh, they need to get over it and learn it.
it makes the pictures look so much better.

Haha! I always look back on this tutorial and laugh, because it really is a silly thing to make a tutorial of, but it really is SO useful!

I think every useful thing needs a tutorial, because there is always someone who won't understand.

At first you had me thinking "Surely she has something better to do with her time" but as I read, it got amusing as only you can make something like that be witty.
Love it.

Love ya!
Glad you liked it.
It was a weird thought process in my mind, because 50% of my brain was really hardcore "this is so ridiculous and so much fun. I love wasting time like this!" but honestly, the other 50% was seriously thinking "PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THIS." I have had to teach SO many people how to do this...a lot of girls catch on quick, but some do really weird things (or miss the "don't do this in a low-cut-dress" rule).
I think the "back and shoulders" step is the one girls tend to miss. Some girls squat like a girls softball catcher, ya know?
Seriously, if we could get Jess to do it, it would make either a very nice or a very funny fellowship picture.
