Here we have "Shanghai Hi-Jinks" episode, obviously Penny-centric, with pretty good lesson about family, just a not-bad-episode. We've got a dance here too, not normal dance, it's chinese dance and Vinnie became sort of a leader of this. It's so important to him (he's even got "a fantasy" about it [this fantasies stuffs are a bit creepy, btw]), he obviously wants to do it well, because it's dance, his passion, an it'll make ghosts affraid too. I really love this side of 17 episode. Vinnie is a bit stressed too because there is no Penny Ling (Penny-centric episode, remember?), but WHATEVER, he wants do to it good for himself and his friends, because DANCE and GHOSTS. There is no a lot words about it, but we can see it in his face, in his words and in his fantasy. I love the fact that they make this subplot with a little problem of character who isn't at the center in the episode, but it was a bit risky, because we know that episode is about Penny Ling and make trouble for other animal (no Blythe) could make this subplot a little impreceptible. They didn't talk about Vinnie's problem because there were more serious Penny's problem, so they just showed Vinnie's problem. But they didn't forget that there is one pet who see this problem and want everything good for Vinnie, who is with him, who know him and who can be a little worried about it. It's a little guess because at least we still have Penny-centric episode. And then, at the end, when Penny discovers who's her real family, joins to the dance and helps other pets, they're obviously thankful to her. But - again - there is one pet who remember that there is character who cares from the start, who wanted to do his best and who was stressed and hopeful too about Chinese dance. Why? Because this character is his best buddy and even when we have Penny-centric episode, Sunil Nevla will remember about his best friend hopes and passions. And when everyone thank Penny Ling - because she made a mistake but she fixed it - this one pet, Sunil Nevla, comes to his friend, who wasn't THAT dilemmatic because he was trying his best from the start, and really proud of his best buddy Sunil commends him as good as he can: "Colossal footwork as usual, Vinnie!".

For me, this scene, those Sunil's words, were a small, but really, really honest, nice and beatiful scene of their bromance. No big words, no big acts, just few words and one hug, but it showed us a big true side of Vinnie and Sunil's relationships. It made for me this episode. It was just perfect. Sorry that I can't express this better.
