Well in case some of you are wondering for the past five months I have talked to some friends both on youtube and some here on deviantart and I told them that I wanted to paint a picture of Michael Jackson; and here it is.

This is a painting of him being embraced by Jesus the moment he enters Heaven. I've had this whole painting thought out for several months until I finally attempted it last month in my painting class. It was part of our final project for the semester and besides the hands on Jesus and the fact that it dosent' look all that life like; I'm quite happy with it.

The meaning behind the title is that once I discovered what a kind and generous person M.J was and how much he helped people and children all over the world I thought

'Man that is so Christ like of him,' thus came the title and the idea.

I figured after all the crap he went through in his life, he deserved a nice comforting embrace by Jesus as both a 'thank you for doing my father's will' and a 'it's alright your safe now.'

I'm thinking of making a series of painting of Michael that deal with him in Heaven once I take life drawing and my human proportions improve.
