So, I decided to make another one of these.The ratty is my very first rat, Nicodemus, who left me quite some time ago. I miss him more and more with each day that passes.
I'm personally sick of hearing people say "I think rats are cute, but I hate their tails."
You know what? I think a lot of humans are cute too...but I hate their attitudes. I'm sorry if this offends anyone on my friends list, but really. Why does the tail even matter? Look past the cover of the book. Rats are full of more personality, soul, and love, than many people can even begin to comprehend.

what an uneducated reason to give you to not get a pair of rats. i don't like dog breath. does that mean i don't let my kids not get a dog? well, don't worry. when you get your own place you can get all the rats you can handle.

I do find rats cute, especially their tails and can't understand why people find them "disgusting" or even "snake-like".

I've had people ask me if their tails feel like a snake, and some people TELL me their tails remind them of snakes and that's why they don't like them.
I'm just like. SHAKING MY HEAD.
It's frustrating. Especially when it's very difficult to persuade said people to think any differently, even with proof and examples.
