For the Imaginism Fan Art Contest held byOriginal artwork by Bobby Chiu: [link]
Wanted to keep the lovely grains the pencil made, and just added colour to produce a painterly quality like the illustrations you can find in childrens' books (recently went to the Edinburgh Book Festival and felt inspired!)
Then I thought the piece would make a lovely card design, hence the "cut along dotted line" line
