It wasn't Spongebob's fault from being overused and gotten bad at many times since it was nick's fault for overusing this talking sponge with friends for network in longest time even after the original creator left.I felt like hate art and random reviews on him gotten very boring lately with same old screaming about nostalgia or something even know in first seasons of Spongebob there was a episode where Patrick get away from insulting Spongebob for two random star fishes.Β

P.S Spongebob have a variety of good games,lot of toys and manged to be on level of someone like Bugs bunny in terms of fame.Β

Agreed all the way. I still love SpongeBob do death! Also, I blame Nickelodeon for the reason some of SpongeBob's not-so-good episodes exist. They were the ones who extended the episode count to 26 episodes during the 6th season and likely rushed the writers to get the episodes out quickly. The writers get way too much hate.

Absolutely agree with you all the way! I still like SpongeBob (both the show and character) despite all their flaws, but it really is annoying how both Nick and the fans have been reacting lately. Β Nick needs to taper down on the show a bit and the fans need to taper down on the whiny hate art and rants.

To be fair, Spongebob and co. aren't that bad, I do enjoy the show for all its worth and adore Battle for Bikini Bottom to death (inspite of not completing the game), and I do have no hard feeling for the post-1st run for the most part (except maybe Worm for its weird story line of Spongebob and Sandy chasing down a giant underwater worm), but somebody should give the guy a mercy retirement from TV. I think he might have suffer a bad case of burnout at this point.

Regardless of Spongebob's ups and downs over the years, I still see him as one of my favorite shows on Nick. In fact, I've heard the old director and writers have came back not too long ago and made the show better once more (not as good as the early seasons but still better than post-movie Spongebob).
