Oh dang. That would be fun and interesting if Genie ever did go the Shantae universe.
Though, Genie's situation depends on whenever if he's bound to the restrictions of his lamp or not (and I mean if he's free from it and he's a free Genie). If he's bound to his lamp, he has no choice but to follow anyone who owns his lamp, he's forced to follow his master/mistress. There's no telling what would happen if Risky Boots gets her hands on the lamp (though, thankfully, there are three specific rules he can't use to wish for Risky if she wants to rid Shantae for good) and I fear what she would wish for.
With Shantae, Genie is viewed as an awesome, yet pretty funny and endearing mentor/advisor for the half genie. Being the goofball he is, I'm pretty sure Genie would constantly pull off lots of gags and humor through the adventure while also breaking the fourth wall and making lots of references of other media, much to Shantae's amusement/annoyance.

Yep. I think that's what Shantae would want from Genie since he deserves his own freedom (and he really does because none of his other masters, besides Aladdin, ever returned any favors to him).

It would vary, since each character is different. Most of the good guys, being Shantae's friends and allies, would also see Genie as an ally, though, somewhat of a goofball as well. The villains would consider him an enemy since he's on Shantae's side, especially how powerful he really is (though, he's much weaker if he's no longer restricted to his lamp).
