Possible scenario: Shortly after the end of the first film (I say that given that there are several sequels in the works), a Predator hunting party decides to take advantage of the transition period to go hunting. Partially to hone their hunting skills and also due to the fact that Pandora has proven difficult for the Yautja race to thoroughly conquer. To do so would raise their status in their clan and amongst their peers significantly. 

While I'm not sure how the Predators would truly fare against the Na'vi and Pandora's wildlife, one strategy might be for them to foment unrest amongst the differing tribes by killing various Na'vi warriors and reframing the murders as intertribal warfare. The Predators could then take advantage of the chaos, isolate various Na'vi groups or individuals, and then hunt them down. 

Again, this is just a possible scenario based on what knowledge I have about both properties.

A pretty interesting movie of having advanced hunter aliens hunting against. primitive but tied to nature aliens. 

It's basically nature vs technology in this case.
