Though, that depends on his mood and this is Rick we are talking about. Who knows what he would do with it. One guess is that Morty will be his guinea pig in testing it. And many other things happen afterward... then it's back to square one with the Omnitrix either lost, destroyed, or in Rick's piles of his other inventions.

Well, unlike Ben, Morty doesn't have as big as a spine and he may freak out wearing it... along becoming species of aliens. Though, due to his adventures with Rick for a while, he may get used to it pretty quickly.

I can agree something like that would happen. Just as long as he doesn't accidentally activate the self destruct mechanism when trying to take it apart. Only way to avoid that from killing him and Morty is either throwing it away into another universe or find the creator who can deactivate it.. and I can pretty much say he chooses the former.
