He would sure do that. And if I'm not remembering wrong, even Misty and Brock were against Ash in the whole problem about the perfume. Of course, thanks for everyone involved that despite his rather monstrous destructive capabilities, Swamp-Thing is usually pretty chill and patient. If this was Man-Thing on the other hand...

And because of his Empathic Powers the emotions of people around him affects his state of mind. Have too many angry people in one place with Man-Thing nearby, and he'll just go berserk and attack everything in sight.

He probably would stand up for Ash, though he brought this to himself. Swamp Thing, defender of earth and its beauty nature. But.....i also think they might let Swamp Thing in, since meeting a being so....connected to nature would be an interesting guest for Lady Erika, maybe have a tour for the whole place and talk about the beauty of the plants and how important are they for the world.
