Lovely and vivid! I, too, like the contrast between the colourful foreground and the dark backdrop. I really need to try some watercolour work.

Very pretty! I like the composition, especially the darkness where the fence is, and the colours are great. Did you initially mask out the fence? The effect is cool.

Thank you :-D I took the photo in Sue's garden and then came inside and just went for it with the paintbox. No masking, I just tried to join it all up. I keep trying to practice.
