the final product of the character I held the design contest for. come up with names, people!the moon over her eye (hard to see) changes phases. when it's full, her fur and the wisps are all white. the wisps turn gray as the moon wanes and it darkens and travels down until, when it turns to new moon, she turns all black. it reverses when the moon waxes, but the blue markings stay the same regardless.
her body contains moons that float around in something like a separate dimension inside her. She releases these through her tail like her parents and siblings.
her colors are white and black with cloud blue markings.

it doesn't fit well with the lunar theme I don't think, it reminds me more of the sun.

I had been grappling with the name for a while and when I saw her tail it clicked into place. I think your thinking Apollo? I know i was at first too.
