Official Lace Ribbon reference sheet. Really loving that super model look, tbh. It's been a very long time since I legitimately drew her, and I don't think I've ever drawn her in legitimate MLP canon style, so I needed to get this out of my system. I've neglected my babbu for far too long.

Changes that have been made to her:

Cutie Mark update. Removed the shine and shading from her cutie mark, so it fits more with the show's style.
Her hair no longer gradiates lightest at the top and darkest at the bottom, but the reverse. I made the line art match the gradient change, as well. The tips of her hair are still curly, but her braid isn't as thick as it used to be anymore.
Her bangs are swept back to the side and are mostly the same length, and not choppy like they used to be. They don't cover her forehead either, but curl over it. Think Odette from The Swan Princess, or Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
She's a few inches taller and thinner than the average mare.
She does NOT have the typical canon style eyelashes, instead I gave her a winged eyeliner appearance.
Her colors have changed a teensy bit since I last drew her, but not by much.
Got rid of the gradient of her hair ribbon, it was unnecessary and took away from the gradient of her hair.
Her mane and tail are both long enough to drag on the ground for quite a few inches, but her tail is rather thick and bouncy so that reduces drag, and her mane goes slightly above the ground when in a braid.

Overall, quite pleased with how this looks.

I'll be doing one of Sweet Melody next after I finish commissions, since I've almost completely changed how she looks compared to when I first designed her. She needs an update, too.
