It's completly normal to characters to be similar. Here's nothing wrong in it. I see this pony first time in my life, and I don't think it's "very similar". They just have horns and blue colour scheme, in rest they're not the same.

Dear, as long at it's not total rip-off of character, you don't need to worry. I often see characters similar to mine and I don't get worried, but I understand you could feel that way, you're living human after all. ^^
