Intentions: This image is dedicated to David Lyons who was a friend to me. He was murdered in the Toowoomba triple murders. He died on the 31st of May, 2005. R.I.P Dave.

This piece is amazing. I don't know where to begin. The images hidden in your hair and in the background help add to the effect the title brings with this piece. And the stare. The way the person is staring it's like their looking not at something, but back in time. Remembering. and all the images in her hair are what's inside her head. a little glimpse at what's going on inside her mind. And the hair over the eyes, makes it seem like she's trying to hide from her memories in some way. and teh little design in the top left makes it look like part of a picture in a frame, which makes it seem more like a memory since pictures are usually symbolic of memories.
And of course there is the just awesome quality of the piece from a technical standpoint. The colors. The texture of the hair. The flowers. The Design in the top left. Her eyes. The lighting on her face. All of that makes this an awesome picture to behold. Awesome not as in "cool" but awesome in the true sense of the word, awe inspiring. This is truly one magical design.
