In this contest, White Shadow on wajas, provided us with an unfinished sketch of a horse and the contest was to finish it.

This horse is so not my style (or maybe he is and I just haven't noticed lol), but when I saw the sketch this is what popped in my head and I just love how he turned out! I didn't place or win anything, but I don't care. I'm really happy with this image. Most people did super real or slightly cartoony, but it was the type of cartoon style that like everyone draws in now, so I wanted to do something different, unexpected as it were.

My inspiration came from Disney actually, for the life of me I can't remember what the horse's name was, but it was a goofy draft horse that pulled a cart in the older cartoons. And also those silly figurines, but I couldn't find a single reference! So he is drawn from imagination. The best kind right?
