my Dalari character, Braith (tis said Bray-eth ). She works exclusivly for the mercenary Galmark and is his caretaker and personal little assassin/zealot. And fancier. 8DHell if she'd let him know, though.

Oh, so terrifyingly and hauntingly wonderful! I rather like the flavor of this piece (and all your work, really- you have this fascinating ability to capture images and characters that are both bone-chilling as well as beautiful

Oh, totally captured the creepy- it reminds me of Guillermo del Toro's work (the movie director of Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy- dark, fanastic, and utterly stunning 
So trust me, the time invested in this was well worth it!

writing is hard to get such creepy detail into... i'm not too good at writing but i know you are so if anything i know you can pull it off. :3
actually just yesterday i went to see Hellboy II, and ...oh boy, it was amazing. i'm not even kidding. the main villian struck me as an anti-hero kind of man...really he reminded me alot of one of my own characters... currently working on a picture of him.
but anyways..you need to see that movie as soon as you are able because it is pure genius.

I saw Hellboy II this afternoon, and holy heebeejeebees, it was amazing! Nuada rocked big time- he was such a badass, but he wasn't tyrannically evil, he was evil because he needed to be. That sort of antihero, as you described, is what appeals to me- and if your characters are anything in that creative vein, you are my hero 
Speaking of characters, Nuala somewhat recalled Axarthys. She carried herself with a similarly haunting grace- though, admittedly, Axy has much more in common with the kitten-smitten, TV-hoggin' demon Hellboy
