Hufflepuff firmly demonstrated its loyalty during the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998, when they were second only to Harry Potter's own house of Gryffindor in the number of students willing to stay and fight against Voldemort and his forces in the defense of their school.

Cidric Digory
He died in battle. An act that the Klingons say would be honorable. If it wern't for him Harry Potter would never have stood a chance in the tri-wizard tournament. Cidric Digory was chosen to complete out of hundreds of other students. On top of that, he helped to prevent voldemort from taking Harry Potter's life after his death. Yah Harry Potter's parents also helped but still. He was a hufflepuff. He had loyalty, pride, good character, and he died with honor. Had it not been for a hufflepuff Harry Potter would have died.
Besides a hufflepuff is like a griffindor but yellow and black instead of read and gold.
