Yeaaaaah, I've been eyeing for a long time now. Their opening is soon, so I thought I would put the finishing touches on this.

I'll probably edit Kymaila's image again.... Not sure I'm liking how much noise is still in the shading and lines still.

Mana: Dark and Metal
Mana combined ability: The two manas combined forms creatures for Kym's controlling. They do not have independent thought or feelings, they are simply purely controlled by their wielder. The beasts have a core of dark mana that acts as muscles and joints while the metal acts as an exoskeleton.The larger the summoned monster is the harder, and more concentration it takes to control.
The controlling of her mana is executed through a series of chants, once her beast is summoned, she can carry on manipulating it through movement in a dance like fashion.

Abilities:
Mana Dragon: Kymaila's manas form a medium sized, metallic dragon (The size of a horse). This dragon has a nasty bite, claw attack, and is agile. It is very fragile though, having many 'joints' that when hit can dismember it, canceling the mana.
Mana Golem: Kymaila's manas form a large sized, metallic golem (The size of a shack). This golem can deliver powerful punches and smash attacks, due to it's structure, it is also high defense. Due to it's size it is very slow, and it does have a weak spot. Hit the back of the legs and you can make it fall to the ground, dismembering the magic.
Mana Basilisk: Kymaila's manas form a medium-large sized , metallic Basilisk (the size of a full sized truck). This beast is very fast, slithering about with a painful bite, but is very weak, having many joints to obtain the snake movement that can be dismembered.
Mana Phoenix: Kymaila's manas form a medium-small sized, metallic Phoenix (The size of an eagle). This beast is very weak having very little metal to it's structure, but is hard to hit since it's given lift from dark mana. It has little to no power attacks though, it's main use is for distraction and scouting.

History:
Kym lived a sheltered life, being born and raised in a small village that’s in the middle of no where. It’s one of those places that is hard to find unless you’ve been there. What happens if you’ve never been there and want to go there? Well good luck!
Like I was saying, Kym was sheltered, the village has little to no influence from the outside world, and the village is made of purely Sylph casters of all sorts. Now while there are many Sylphs there, most of them have a control of pure wind mana or a combination using it. A rarer family line there though, often noticed for having horns in the village, controls metal and dark.

Kymaila was the only Sylph child of her family in the village growing up, and no different from her relatives, she had horns. Now, being the only kid with horns was rather hard on Kym, she often got picked on growing up, to make matters worse, the kids would make fun of her for being the only one with different manas to wield. All the same, Kym was still able to develop a smiling attitude and maybe a slight mean streak. Her school days, she was often in trouble for one thing or another. One thing she grew famous for in class that has even left a strong memory in the teacher’s mind is when little Joe got half swallowed by Kym’s Mana Dragon because he was throwing things at her horns. Don’t fret though, little Joe was fine once he was spit out. A little shaken up, but fine over all.
Learning from her family, she learned how to manipulate her manas to form different creatures, a trademark of her heritage. Being the only child in the family, there was a lot of pressure on her to carry on their style of mana wielding, and she did her best to keep up expectations. While she wasn't naturally gifted, she was very stubborn and determined, a good trait for this fate.

When Kym was 16, she was considered an adult in her village and given her own spirit staff. Shortly after given this she left her village for find bigger and better things, like new forms for her monsters.
Now, what’s happened to her village? It blew up by an evil dictator… No, I’m just kidding, this isn’t one of those classic RPG clichés where the poor peasant village is destroyed. The village is still thriving, and every once in a while, Kym will visit it.

Well, when Kym first came to the city of Edin, she was completely unaware of the evil out there. She had no idea what thieves, murderers, and such things were. In fact she was completely surprised when someone ran up behind her and stole her money. Her first day in the city and Kym had learned many things already, not to mention she had became completely broke since she lost her wallet. It was at that point Kym faced a huge decision that would change her life completely. She could either A: Go back to her village and admit defeat, never to return to the ‘outside world’ again, or B: Seek her place in the city where she would gain allies, and put her in a position where she would be protected.
Not wanting to give up, Kym chose to dive into work. She spent a good day going to business to business looking for things she could do. She started taking up odd jobs, but after a few weeks of that she was able to settle on something more solid thanks to some people she had met.
She was introduced to a local man by the name of Joe Silvertail. He was an older man in his 30's that was a mercenary. THat right there would have normally been enough to scare Kym away, he was kind though despite what his job, and he was in need of a partner. After she talked to the man a little while, she agreed to go on a mission with him, and it did forever change her life. She came to enjoy doing the jobs, and even more, she loved doing them with Joe. She looked up to him, he was her one true friend in this world.

THey quested several years together, it wasn't until a few months ago that he disappeared off the face of the earth when he said he would take on this one job alone. Kym has since been heartbroken that she lost her best friend and her puppy crush as her grandmother would have called it.

It wasn't until recent the Sylph had heard any solid news on guilds within the country. Knowing they would have power and information, she sought them out. She hoped that through them maybe she could be reunited with Joe. Her first encounter with any guild was that of the Thief's Guild, which she was eager to join. Not for their views, but her own gain.

Personality:
Once upon a time, Kym use to be a sweet young girl with an innocent mind. She was a ray of sunshine that was kind of a goofball, but that all changed after she left the quiet, small, home town life and came to the city. The cruel and dark people changed her, they robbed her of her pure good thoughts and ideas and forced her to change. In her own defense, she developed a cold, hateful, rude personality to counter everything around her and to protect what was left of her sweet disposition. Her sweet side use to peek out when she warmed up around people, but over time that’s changed, it’s a rare anymore to even see her gentle side. THe one thing she even seems to show affection for are the things she forms with her mana, her only link with home.
