Water types and Ice types: Both are a type he is attracted to, but he doesn't feel he could manage a gym with those types.

Music: He listens to it a lot, even when he's not at work.
Battling: His pokemon are his friends and he wants to see them grow and be stronger. Not to mention pokemon battles are his jam

Dislikes:
Pokemon Contests: He understands why some people might do them, but he doesn't have any interest in them himself.
A certain Water gym leader: She should have gone out with him..... And seriously.... A Staru? WHo does she think she is?
'Froo-froo' food: Essence of what? Foam? WHat is this crap? Give him hearty things, he's a big boy!
Disrespectful children: He's been training longer than some of these new trainers have been alive. Show some respect!
Ghost type: They creep him out.... He avoided Lavender Town back in his home region because of the high population of them.

Hates with a burning passion:
Whoopers: Some people hate Zubats? Well he hates WHoopers..... A Whooper stole his phone once and he's never forgiven them since.

History: Born and raised in Kanto, he worked the docks with his father until he was 12 and started traveling with his Pikachu. After running around the Kanto region, captured pokemon, and gaining badges. From an early age he dreamed of becoming a gym leader and started collecting as many pokemon as he could. Many he sent home to his family, keeping only a select few with him.
After spendng several years in his home region he moved on to Johto and started traveling there. He traveled for a few years before he settled down in Golden Rod in his 20's, getting a job as a temp at the radio station and working his way up as the years went on.
Still holding onto his dream, he is biding his time as a DJ while training his team on his off time.

History with Pokemon:
Pikachu: When he was 6, Isaac found his pikachu living near the docks as a wild. As a young boy he thought it was a cool pokemon and started feeding him and building up trust; It wasn't before long that they were inseparable, sharing the same bed even. When he was old enough to travel, Isaac and Electchu started off with each other, seeing the world. For many years Isaac was stubborn and used Electchu as often as he could, leveling his pikachu far above any other pokemon he had. He has spoiled the poor pokemon with special TM's and candies, but has never had the heart to evolve his friend.

Typhlosion: Locker came to him as a Cyndaquil when he came to Johto. Having room on his team at the time he started training the pokemon into the little fire demon he is today.

Azurill: Some time after he started working at the radio station he found an egg abandoned nearby. Faintly recognizing it as a pokemon egg he took it and started caring for it. About two years ago it finally hatched and he started raising the little ball of energy.

Dratini: Lady was the result of spending a week in the Safari Zone and spending countless amounts of pokedollars on sessions to catch a dratini. Though it cost him several weeks worth of wages he finally caught one which he hopes to evolve into a powerful dragon pokemon some day.

Honedge: His newest pokemon having only had her for a few months, Isaac got her through a trade.

Spheal: Tako came to him from a friend who was a breeder. The poor guy had had an influx of eggs and handed off Tako to Isaac when he decided he had too many Spheals. Isaac has been raising him since he sees a promising ice pokemon in Tako when he's not rolling around after Azurra.

Extra information: *His dream is to become a gym leader some day
*Travels back to his home town occasionally on the weekend thanks to the magnet train.
*Very confident around water pokemon, but has never flat out specialized in them.
