Description
I tried to sum up the last few years of Marvel Events. I tried to leave out as little as possible, but some stuff did fall through the cracks. (I actually forgot that the Heroic Age was a thing that happened. Just forget it. Poof, gone!)I'm just poking a little fun at Marvel. You guys still put out some great books!

She forgot to mention how Marvel also used age of atom to confuse the fact that the days of future past storyline was supposed to have Β happen 12-15 years ago and rather than give it up came up with stories like age of atom and lacking any new ideas for new stories and thus maybe coming up with some new stories worth reading has fallen back to the bad habit of rewriting the same old stories made ages ago even though they didn't work any better in the past proving that Marvel don't care to make new noteworthy stories anymore.. ...

Hey, Tempus isn't a D-List Mutant... She's easily a B-List and will be an A-Lister in no time with how much she's taken off already and her Omega-Level Time Powers!

I havent picked up a Marvel book since Phoenix: End Song because I'm a Jean/Phoenix fan, so I thank you, 'Rachel' sweetie, for the to-the-point update! Entertaining as well as informative. I see I havent really missed ANYTHING, LOL!Β

You're being unfair.
Jack of Hearts came back in Marvel Zombies Supreme.

True! I didn't know about that since I stopped following Marvel Zombies two or three series ago.
It's pretty safe to assume that any dead hero who was even a little popular will end up coming back, though.

Yeah, thats right.
Since this "House of M" stuff I was never really able to enjoy the Marvel Universe again.
I keep reading, in hopes it gets better though....

What about that minor unimportant event where Hercules defeated a Japanese god of the dead or something? Damn, I can't remember the name of the event.

I love your take on things Marvel, very clever, very self aware without being like an out of body narrator. I remember starting Marvel comics thinking,
"Oh shit, this is so large and complex, no way I could summarise this for my friends"
I look here and I say
"Well, fuck. That was easy"

Actually I'm pretty sure Jack of Hearts came back in Marvel Zombies Supreme but I don't think he's appeared anywhere else since. Oh, and you missed World War Hulk, but then that was pretty awesome so...

Do you think it's safe to mention that as big of a hit the AVengers movie was, it left no impact on the comics so far considering the changes made to Spider-Man and the X-Men in theirs?

It made plenty of impact. It launched books specifically using the movie's cast of characters (Avengers Assemble), it transformed a huge portion of the Marvel Universe into Avengers (Thunderbolts became Dark Avengers, you have several new Avengers books launching with Marvel Now, including a Hunger Games ripoff that other than a few cast members from the now-cancelled Avengers Academy, has nothing to do with the Avengers), and there are very few characters now who aren't part of the team. The movie brought The Hulk back to the Avengers for the first time in nearly fifty years. I'd say that's pretty big.
