I'm expecting, and most curious on how they explain how he got back to his "somewhat" sanity. They implied that his conscious was inevitably shaken to a stupor...

Now this is a tricky situation. I doubt if Bart could shoot Bob just like that. He is too afraid of the situation neither does he want to actually kill another human being. Bart might feel no shame but that is beyond him.
I bet that most likely Bart would panic and accidentally fire the gun and the bullet would hit Bob in some very painful place. I think it might be a knee or in even worse case his groin.
Anyway it is a great pic.
