I think this image shows the difference between a prankster and a monster.
A prankster may like to mess with people, but they balk at murder, no matter how much it is justified.
Sideshow Bob is correct that Bart, despite his jerk behavior, is still a kid who can kill.
I can picture Bart shooting Bob, and then crying even if it is not fatal.

Bart began to calm down and focus, then shot both of Bob's left and right kneecaps and then both his arms. While the killer groans in pain, Bart walks up to him with a death glare while Sideshow Bob smirks.
S. Bob: Hmph, I stand corrected. Go ahead Bart, shoot me, put an end to this murderous feud between us. Because if you don't, you'll never have this opportunity next time.
Bart: Don't worry I won't. Besides it's over Bob, you're finished. All the years of you hunting me down and tried to kill me countless times and failed miserably on all of them, it's over. You won't get THIS opportunity.
S. Bob, *chuckles darkly*: You think so do you Bart, because even if you do kill me, my family will avenge me by killing you, your family, friends, and anyone that you Simpsons ever made contact with. Because if I can't kill you . . . then somebody will.
Bart: And we'll be ready when the time comes. Goodbye . . . Sideshow Bob.
Bart shot him point blank in the head, which was the end of Sideshow Bob. But the young Simpson know that Bob is telling the truth about his family will hunt him down like a fox, and he'll be ready when the time comes. For now, Bart is happy that this nightmare is over and got on his bike and ride back home.

If you want my opinion, I think whether Bart would finish off Bob or not all depends on what Bob had done not to him, but to a dear friend or family member of his. After all, Lisa has arguably become more capable of foil Bob's plans than Bart. Maybe Bob killed Lisa or it looked like he killed her. Bart and Lisa may seldom get along, but at his age, even he can't afford to lose her to his worst enemy (besides Dr. Demento).

Anyways, great pic. This definitely sounds like what would happen in an actual Simpsons episode....or maybe even a sequel to the Simpsons movie!

This would make a great episode! His last appearances were on odd numbers (seasons 17, 19, 21). I hope he appears on the current season, but I don't think that's going to happen :c

I wouldn't be so confident that Bart wouldn't pull the trigger. He would have killed Milhouse (accidentally) if Marge didn't stop him in time in "The Cartridge Family" episode. Bart finds the gun in the refrigerator, and has Milhouse put an apple in his mouth and is about to fire when Marge catches him and stops him.
