So sometime in the near future, (after I finish a few chapters of the fanfics I'm currently working on), I plan on doing a story about Disney's Pinocchio. In it, Pinocchio will have a 12-year-old female friend who will act as a sister figure while helping him fulfill Gepetto's dream of becoming a real boy.

Since then, Maria has been living with the kindly woodcarver, calling him a surrogate father, and even assisting him with building a familiar wooden puppet. Maria has dreams of being a singer like her late mother, but with the help of the Blue Fairy, Pinocchio, and Jiminy Cricket, Maria must conquer her shyness and prove that she is capable of being a good sister figure for Pinocchio.
