I have been stung by a wasp before but never by a bee.

I've been stung by both - when I was little, I used to pick up bees and hold them in my hands before they stung me. Another time when I was eleven, I unknowingly stepped on a wasp's nest in the ground, and I got stung on the legs about 5-6 times.
