Backstory:This is Huy's daughter, Amneris. She is Danye's cousin, and younger than her by three years (making her 23). Amneris inherits her father's beanpole figure, as well as having big ears (not as big as her father's, but she keeps them covered by her hair, anyway). Unlike her father, Danye is humble, caring, and good-natured.
When she and her cousin witness their fathers mistreat two servant girls, Amneris and Danye try everything they can to convince their fathers to let the girls free so they can reunite with their parents. Hotep and Huy refuse to listen to them, of course, so Danye and Amneris will have to find a way on their own to help Mariyah and Yoshel.
Amneris's mother died when she was 10; her mother was fending her family from a clan of hyenas, but her life was cut short when the hyenas subdued her and ate her alive. Since then, Huy spent much less time for his daughter, but Amneris found solutions to her problems with her cousin and the princess Moses and Rameses. But then one day, Moses ran away and never came back for a long time; however, Danye never failed to be close with her cousin at all times.
