I started this last night, I went through many different colors before I came up with this scheme. It works well I think. I incorperated several symbols and emblems used often in the Zelda series such as, of corse the triforce, but also the Sheikah eye, the 3 Goddesses' symbols the 6 medalion emblems as well as the pheonix bird crest. one might also notice the Gerudo mark at the top of the shield. all of the other markings were made by me, and are basically there to make it look more ornate, they have no specail meanings besides looking cool. This is supposed to be the Magic sword and Magic shield, I might release altenate versions later because I like how some of them came out, I also have a different sword I was going to use before I made this one.Made using Macromedia Flash and Fireworks.

I love these. I drew a similar sword (but didn't post it as I don't really post anything), but I like the way yours turned out a lot better. I also LOVE the shield.

I quite like your take on it. Every version of the Magical Sword I've seen seems different. Sprites, official artwork, in-game models for third-party spinoffs, and fanart too.

I really like the symbols on the shield but the way in which they are positioned the triforce should be over the birds head and the three goddess symbols could be where the triforce is and I don't know where the gerudo sybmol could go but that's just my overall opinion on it but either way it looks GREAT!

I must say, you've got quite the eye for design! Not just the design of the subjects, but the entire composition is clean and very appealing! I'd cosplay with that! XD

This looks very much the style of Wind Waker, i am so loving that gold winged sword hilt. The black and gold on that shield is really Hot to boot! Great work Tony.

thanks. i had wind waker in mind when i did this, the symbols around the triforce are the symbols on the godesses pearls, also noteworthy is the fact that they were origionaly used as the symbols for the 3 songs you learn in oracle of ages.

thanks, i made a mirror shield version of this and i thought of submiting that one but i opted for the black shield because it looks cool, i also made a version where the blade of the sword is black, it looks really cool.

*bows* This is amazing! The colors and overall design are wonderful. You took the cell shaded look and gave it some pseudo reflections which only add to their beauty. I wish I could do work like this... Well, I probably could, I just don't have the patience.
