For my Raster Imaging class, we had to create a movie poster using the title and two other movie items she gave us, and at least 3 images that we either found online or took ourselves. It had to be this size. This is what I came up with.

I had a song in mind that I took inspiration from, called "Brick By Boring Brick" by Paramore. It references pulling wings off of butterflies; it signifies the loss of innocence. I wanted to depict a turn from passion and idealism to coldness and hurt. But there's only so much you can do in a movie poster haha. To me, a movie poster is a teaser or dramatic image of some aspect of the story. It has colors that really pop out at you. So that's what I tried to convey. I have other ideas for a different illustration regarding this theme... hopefully I can find the time to do it sometime.
