Final update on Buhky - best of all outcomes. Buhky found a forever home. He will have 25 hens to keep him company on a small hobby farm with a very nice family. They needed a new roo because their previous boy died of old age. He will be loved, with no fear of the dreaded "pot". They were very impressed with his calm disposition, he will get to free range all day, and at night be tucked up in a nice coop. I still wish he was mine, but so long as he is happy and safe, that's all that matters.Related content

Awww I know that your brokenhearted but you see how things happen if you had never found him the people that needed a new rooster would not have had one. It was meant for them to have him and remember what I said my dear when you have your own things again you can have as many chickens as you want and don't have to get permission from anyone.
