My midterm assignment for Drawing I is to spend 15 hours on a piece with 2 foot x 3 foot (!!) area. Instead of doing one giant piece, I've decided to do a manga. To that end, here's my first [very] rough pass at the first page.I did this page to play around with poses/layouts of panels, etc. I'll probably have to completely redo it since it won't fit on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper (damn you, aspect ratio!).
Once the completed page is done this will wind up in scraps...

Hmm...for this one, I don't quite understand what's going on here. Where is she in reference to the fight? What about him? I couldn't tell whether he was the one doing the initial killing or if it was a different scene all together.

She's walking into the aftermath following the fight. I'll probably break this page into two pages with more panels to make that clear.
