Just imagine somebody sketching out a scene where one character pinches their cheek, as if to suggest disbelief. Then, and this is the important part, they come back to it and their sketch is so haphazardly done, they mistake the cheek pinching as mouth grabbing and never really thinks about it.
But that's just stupid.
On LDS island, its a cultural normal that people grab their mouths to check and see if their dreaming.
