How does a 3-d printer work with sandstone? I always thought that 3-d printed items were made of plastic. Is there a CNC router that engraves the sandstone? Is some other method used for engraving the sandstone such as a laser or abrasive blasting?
I'm very curious.

Think more about wet sand on a sand castle, how you can push it into a shape. Its sort of like that, but the sand gets dry and bakes, except its sandstone in a powder form that hardens later and is painted over. The sight has more options than that, but I think sandstone is all someone would really want.
