Description
Alright , here is the process for my Boa Hancock pieceFeel free to ask questions I'll try my best to answer.
MOST ASKED QUESTION - What did you do to the outline in panel 3? : I merged the outline and flat color layer together. From there on , I paint over and over make things smoother (It can be done in another layer if you are not confident) Keep refining and take your time. Patience is the key , like ALWAYS.
For finished product
I will share the brushes soon at my fb page.

Hope you all like it!

At first glance of the last page I thought the snake was a cow

Although that's really unhealthy anatomy for a woman, I must say, this is amazing!

Aha! xD I guess all women like this pose to look classy. My featured deviation is doing the same thing, but in an uglier chair. Either way, I'd kill for this woman's figure.

Looks really good
However, due to it's amazing colour work, the anatomy could use a tad bit of adjustment, but because this critique wasn't asked for I'll leave it up to you to ask me if you really want my opinion. Other than that, I really like this piece a lot.

For amateurs this still looks like the owl-meme though...

Yes, a progress of a drawing in two steps: merely two circles and then a fully detailed owl. It's rather amusing.

Love it!!
Something I noticed though is that she has short fingernails on the hand where she holds the glass
And long on the other one ;o;
Is it intentional? ♥

This is very well done. I have a question, how do you get rid of the outlines? Do you color over them or recolor them? It's always been difficult for me to make "painted"
digital art because of that.

This is a very lovely image! Did you use textures for the pattern on her dress and the scales on the boa, or was it a custom brush you made for both?

For the pattern on her Cheongsam , I retraced her original symbol, place it on and carefully repainted it according to the 3D of the shape it's implanted to As for the snake's scale , I created a custom brush for it.

It just looks so awesome, you have a careful eye for detail. She has such flawless skin, and I like your approach versus trying to draw all the scales out on the snake. Lol thanks for replying and sharing

I know there is this deviantart meme where people post something they did years ago and redo it, do you think you could do that? you are just so insanely good I'd really like to see where you were a few years back

Do you keep the sketch layer on the bottom when you start shading the colored layers?

That's what I thought. I've been using Corel Painter X3 for about a year now and just got PS CS5, looks to be similar to certain degree.
