Basically, as the title suggests, the story takes place in a circus full of various freaks of nature. However the freaks there weren't born freaks, they were made freaks by the ringmaster and they hope to one day escape.

My character, Stretch Las(Not Canon) is a little girl who ran away to this circus and got caught and transformed into the freak she is now. Her limbs were broken into small enough pieces so as to give her the ability fold in her arms and legs. During her performances she waddles on stage and demonstrates her abilities such as shrinking her arms and legs, touching the ceiling and jumping up and down with the movements of an accordion.

However, unlike the other freaks in the circus, she doesn't want to leave despite the awful condition she's in. The reason: her life before she became a freak wasn't any better. Stretch Las lived in an orphanage with awful, abusive caretakers and miserable dorm mates. She had lived there for nine years, just long enough for her to decide one night that she had had enough and run away.
Even though the circus life wasn't as glamorous as she had hoped, she at least feels love and comfort from those around her.
